Weekly Update

I received this note from Iris Holloway, our UMCOR shoebox coordinator and I urge you(if you are not already) seriously consider this mission outreach, if you need more info, let me know!  During this time when we are not meeting in person, this is an easy way to be in mission and ministry as a church!

 

Could you put another plug in for the UMCOR Christmas Boxes. I know that the date on the list says Mid August but Cindy at the warehouse says they can take after that date and if they don’t arrive in time to get to a missionary they can use next year. Nine of us went to work in the warehouse about a month ago and they had a lot of boxes that we checked the contents on from last years. I have about 400 of the 1000 boxes that I picked up at the Decatur Warehouse.
