The following questions has been asked of the conference and counsel has been sought:
“If a person who has been in contact with someone with COVID or has tested positive for COVID attends church and the pastor knows about it but does not have permission to share the information what should be done?”
The pastor, the PPRC, and the trustees should have an advance plan in place so that if a case such as this does occur, the information is shared only with the person(s) in charge of handling the situation. In no case should the name of the exposed or infected person be shared with anyone beyond this small group. That person should be asked to leave the event.
It might also be helpful to have the following guidelines posted and/or included in any printed material advising anyone who has any of the following symptoms or conditions to please refrain from attending church activities until they are able to answer NO to all of the questions.
QUESTIONNAIRE FOR EACH POTENTIAL WORSHIP ATTENDEE TO ASK EACH SUNDAY

• Do you have a cough?
• Do you have a sore throat?
• Are you experiencing shortness of breath?
• Are you experiencing any acute digestive symptoms such as diarrhea, loss of appetite or vomiting?
• Are you experiencing a loss of taste or smell?
• Have you been in contact with someone with or under investigation for COVID in the past two (2) weeks?

Please let me know if you have a preference as to which ZOOM clergy call you want to be a part of(10, 1, 3 or 6?) Be reminded our next ZOOM call is June 18th and that will be the last one until August 6th which will begin our twice monthly(1st and 3rd Thursdays) call schedule….
The question the DS asked you to reflect upon and be ready to share your thoughts on June 18th is as follows:
What plans have you made or are you making to help your people be better disciples of Jesus Christ when things are not ‘normal’?
