We are working on scheduling a BASIC lay servant class to be taught here at the district office, PLEASE let me know if any of you are interested!

  1. March 22, 2020-District Conference at Senatobia 1st at 3:00 for all lay members to annual conference and clergy members.
  2. March 22, 2020-Special Day Offering:  UMCOR Sunday
  3. April 10-13 Easter Holidays
  4. April 23-Wesley Meadows Golf Tournament
  5. April 25-Wesley Meadows Spring Fling:  Hot Air Balloon Rides and Golf Ball Drop! Call Cheryl for more information!
  6. April 26, 2020-Special Day Offering:  Native American Sunday
  7. April 27, 2020@6:30 p.m. at Sardis UMC-introductory meeting for GRIEFSHARE-regular meetings will begin May 4th@6:30 at Sardis UMC and continue with this schedule for 13 weeks-more details to follow as they develop, please pass this word along to anyone in your congregations and communities that would benefit from these gatherings.
  8. May 10, 2020-Special Day Offering:  Mississippi Methodist Senior Service
  9. May 16, 2020-Camp Lake Stephens 75th anniversary kickoff-district office has more information available!
  10. May 25 Office closed for Memorial Day

Once again, I ask that you check the attached list to be sure your charges' lay member to annual conference is listed correctly!  This is very important and will be the list that we are working with at the district conference and also the list from which name badges for annual conference will be made….I thank you in advance for your help!
