Scripture:

When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down, his

disciples came to him. Then he began to speak, and taught them, saying:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

-Matthew 5:1-3 NRSV

Message for this week:

Life has heartbreaks and struggles when our spirits are nearly depleted. We might feel we have

nothing more to give or any more to take; but, even during these times, Jesus calls us blessed! Why?

Because God is God! God is love. God can untwist any evil for good. Nothing defeats God. God is always

victorious. Love is always victorious. We are tough enough to love and care for all people. We might

get hurt, but we are brave enough to love all we meet.

When we struggle, all we need to do is call on God our beloved Savior. God always answers us

when we call. When God’s answer is not immediate, we wait faithfully and give thanks to our Lord and

Savior. Is this easy? No. However, when we do, our faith brings God’s Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth

right now!

We have faith in God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Our faith is a solid foundation. We are not

standing alone. We stand on love! God is love and God loves us all. God’s children are love and God’s

children love each other unconditionally. We are beloved and forever cherished!

God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit loves us. God’s angels and saints love us. All our Christian

brothers and sisters (some we have not met yet) love us! We are beloved by a BIG Christian family.

Keep the faith. Share the love with God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, neighbors, and yourself. Praise God who

loves us for all eternity! Our spirit might be poor, but our love is rich.

Prayer: We pray all people share the Love and faith of Jesus our Lord and Savior, in Jesus Name, Amen.
