Matthew 13:5-6 (NLT)
5 Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock.  The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But the plants soo wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn’t have deep roots, they died.

How can a seed sprout, grow roots, and then wither and die if it was never alive? Doesn’t something have to be alive in order to die?  Many people want Jesus to be their friend, but I believe we also need Jesus as Savior and Lord of our lives in order to grow and thrive.

Lord, help us to experience you as Lord, Savior and Friend! In the Name of Jesus! Amen!
Respectfully Submitted,
