Minor Memorial Custodian Opening

Minor Memorial UMC in Walls, MS (near Memphis, TN) is seeking a part-time church custodian to clean our church building on a regular basis.  This person will be responsible for following a weekly checklist of cleaning needs to insure a thorough cleaning of all spaces.  Hours may vary from 15-20 hours/week and there is some flexibility with the scheduling of days/nights.
Candidates should be committed to the Christian faith and experienced in basic cleaning techniques.  Candidates must be able to physically do the work required and need to be detail-oriented.  Other qualifications include:  good communication skills, proficient in English, good time management skills, organized, self-starter and finisher.  Candidates must be able to work as a “team player” and must submit to a background check and drug screening.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required and prior experience is preferred.
